I'm thinking, that tomorrow, I'm going to ut my hair and donate it to locks of love? Should I?

im pretty sure it has to be at least 9" of hair for locks of love to take it. and im laso pretty sure they dont use pubes that often lol.

I just cut about ten or so inches off my hair that they were giving to locks of love. Which is why I decided to go so short. It's a big change but I like it so far. I look more like a soccer mom.

My sister and her husband do it regularly. (donating hair - we don't discuss sex you incestual pervs!) I grew mine out only to find that they dont take any silver grey hair because it is too brittle to weave into a wig

It has to be 12 inches, YOU PAY locks of love, and like 66% of the donated hair is deemed unusible. My brothers wife used to do this every time she could. Ended up being more of a pain then doing any good.

Shoulder length isnt enough to make the cut ( get it? Cut? lol ). Good idea though. Reps for supporting...

EDIT: If you do go bald and donate the hair I will cover the cost of the haircut for you.

So since there is only a 34% chance of it being used it nots worth the effort of trying? I disagree. Its a good cause and worth the effort... Ask any recipient of locks for love how much it meant to them. If people didnt participate in things because it was "more of a pain than doing any good" mankind would be SOL.

Your "facts" are off. Ten inches is the minimum and monetary donations are optional, not required.

Im just saying its easier to donate to a company that does there own wigs and then donates them. Thats what my brothers wife did this year instead of locks for love. I foget were but she found a company that makes wigs and then donates them to cancer patients directly.

Well were ever my brothers wife went lied to her. They said there was a mandatory 10 dollar fee or some shit. Something about getting the hair to locks or something.

Nah Choco it's free. I did it lastnight and it's a lot better than just throwing it away. Even if they reject it later at least you tried. I'd say they will take mine. I have nice hair.

I know my brothers wife went back each year because they told her her hair was good. Then she died it and they rejected it because it was died. Altho that was last year so it could have just been some BS people.

But, the say they want a 10 inch ponytail, its free, no mone involved unless u wanna donate some. My hair looks shoulder length when its curly/wavy but it goes down to the middle of my back when straight. I don't have a nappy jungle fro btw. Ill take pix in a minute after I gets out the shower.

Oh and @choco, dude it doesn't matter who u donate to. All it is , is a small pacage of hair to a org. That gives they're time and effort to help those who are a bit less fortunate. And when Its for a good cause, its never a pain in the ass
