College Advice
So in August of 2013, my contract expires for the USAF. Im debating on wether to stay in or get out and go to college(leaning more towards college.)
I am almost certain that im going to do one of the automotive schools. Before I enlisted, I almost went to Lincoln Tech in INDY. Im a mechanic on the A-10, C-130, and HH-60 helicopters. I alwats do my own things with my car and always have. I am NOT good with school and I like doing everything with my hands. Is one of these automotive schools worth going to anf getting my degree with or will it basically lead to nowhere and a dead end job? Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk |

Something you can always look into is switching to a reserve component, and doing school as well with the GI bill?
what would you go to school for? where are you looking at? 4 year or tech? whats your goals coming out? Lots more needs to be answered for anyone to give ya advice! |

I would say get all the education you can with the AF paying for it.

I went lincoln tech here in Texas. First class sucks. After the first intro class it's 60/40 hands on and a lot of fun. Learn a lot too.
My advice would be go to a trade school and stick it out. Don't drop out like I did. I regret it everyday.
