Zombies are essentially died, walking rotting corpses..isnt a waiting game until they get so rotted that things rot away completely and end up destroying the brain naturally? with bugs and whatnot that would fester in them wouldnt you think this would be somewhat of a fast process?

ill just set air plane blades all around my house and start them up when they start coming. slice and dice.. the shoot the crawling whatevers left

or we could just make a huge ass house ontop of a really tall fat poll that is polished so they couldnt climb up.
can you imagine how bad the rotting bodys would smell all around you though.

DGT we had our excape plan already. We have locations all over the world that are great for hiding from zombies. Fort Carrel in baltimore city for example. Its an island with 20-30 foot walls strait up. This is man made so even the island isn't much bigger for boats have to pull right up to it. No way in other then boat. Its also large enough to have a small farm in the middle for food. Close enough to the city that skilled marksmen can retreave supplies.

There are many other areas. Most islands are good as long as they have drop offs at the ends so the zombies can't just walk under water and up onto the island. How ever thinking about it don't they still have to supply O2 to the brain? so they can't walk under water.

But yes EVENTUALLY they will rot away.
