Camaraderie between mustangs

new here, but noticed alot of forums with some sort of V6 vs V8 debat or V8 vs special edition mustang. well anyway, gonna make my story short.

coming from the track (belle rose Louisiana) had to stop at the gas station and i noticed that two other mustangs that were there had to stop there also, one being the new 5.0 and a Boss 302. and they came over to my car. i thought they were gonna clown my ass for racing a v6 in a circuit race, but instead they gave me props and gave me some advice on making my car faster without breaking my pocket.

so what i'm curious about is, do any of ya'll get this kind of respect from other mustang owners whether it be a v6 or v8.

It doesnt have to do with the car, its the persons personality.
Theres people like that in the tuner scene and sports.
If your a cool person Ill help and ill take advice from anyone v6-gt500.

When I have the bullitts on mine a couple of people have asked me if it's a V6 or V8, and just have gotten a few compliments from other owners about the new tinted taillights and blackout panels. I've never caught crap from people, but I never try to act like my car is something it isn't. If someone rips on a 6 for being a 6 it's a dick move imo.

thats mostly what i see on forums and the track in bigger cities. and it is a dick move, the 6 can hold its own when the person builds it to do so. same goes for any car actually, but i just notice more anti-6 crap than any other car.

making fun just about any car is an asshole move unless the owner of it is just obnoxious or tries to make it seem that it's something it's not, but if that's not the case then I show respect to just about any other car.
