Trying out leangains IF (intermediate fasting) and loving it
Hey guys i started leangains about 2 weeks and ago i love it i already feel like ive lost alot of that stubborn little fat on my stomach and my gains are increasing also its a really good program, im happy i stopped thinking so many of the media lies about working out alot and eating all day will give you best reuslts. This program has me feeling good i fast from 7:15 p.m. to 11:15 a.m. and i workout on a fasted stomach other then taking my bcaa's and preworkout supplement before my workout. These are my pre/post supplements and how im looking now, i really want to get to about 8% body fat and right now im at 10.1% exactly. My bench has gone up to 250lb's 8 times, squat 300lb's 6 times, and deadlift 295 6 times, i havent maxed out in a while on these but last time i maxed out bench i did 315 2 times so yea.
My goal is to get to 8% like i said and max out 325lb on bench, 375lb on squat, and 375lb on deadlift. Im pretty sure i can do the squat and deadlift max goal but havent tried yet, oh and im weighing 151 lbs now ask me anything and any input would be well appreciated oh and i just started taking the bsn amino acid powder and animal pack for the first time ever 2 weeks ago, before all i ever took was regular pre workout supps and some protein powder.![]() ![]() ![]() oh and my arms are pretty red because i got a tan washing cars with a tank top on

for people trying to lose fat, this is the perfect excersise the 16 hour fast a day and 8 hour window you can eat a day. Google lean gains and check the website out you will be amazed and ask me anything if you want

I tried leangains and it just wasn't right for my body, I like to eat all day lol.
How are you meals broken up? And when do you workout (on empty stomach) like in the morning or mid day? Oh and what hours are you eating at? Just kinda curious for when I cut weight again I might give this another go

I work out always from 9 to about 10:30 on weekdays and about 9:30 to 11 on saturdays so its perfect because as soon as i finish i take my protein,animal pack and grub the hell out. Once you take it serious bro for a week you will see results already i swear and i have that fitness pal app on my droid to help count calories

You do realize this is not healthy correct?
It is lowering your metabolizm and when you are to old to do this or you decide to stop you will gain weight fast. Also fasting for 16 hours before working out is horrible for you. Your body has no nutriants to help with the workout process. However you are using those supliments so you may be getting the nutrients you need. I am against those supliments but thats just me. All that aside. congrats on getting a plan together and actually following through.

I'm on a 1200 calorie diet. I just stopped drinking tea an still need a little coffee in the morning. I don't feel like I've lost a lot. I'm getting on a more strict work out schedule soon but I've been doing more Than I used to. I'm frustrated.

im using the bcaa's for energy before the workout, and just look up lean gains on google

But there is really no reason to eat meals late at night anyways if you're awake during the day and sleep at night, chocolate.
it doesn't get burned off as much when you sleep.

try out leangains bro, im doing it for fat loss not really weight loss if that makes sense, and also the way im doing it is emphasing muscle gain alot, you can edit it so it could be more about fat loss check out the home page on the website youll see the results people get just fast 16 hours and have an 8 hour window with only 1500- 2000 calories a day

thats a myth dude this guy has research about all this, dude do you see him? alot of bodybuilders get their body from fasting, you dont even have to workout abs while your doing this, thats how much fat your going to be shredding off, he says he hasnt done cardio or hit abs for months even years, its all about your diet

I never eat after 7 and usually have breakfast around 9 or 10 cause I get up at 4 am for work. My problem has to be working out. That or I'm never gonna lose this baby pouch lol.

so 9am. to 5pm can be your 8 hour window and you can always have cofee while your fasting as long as its less then 50 calories, and with this plan bro the diet is whats gunna make you lose the fat not so much the excersise actually. But working out will def. help and also`with this workout plan anyways all you have to do is workout 3 days a week for only about an hour a day low reps high intensity, if you ever want ill give you the exact workouts its mostly just the biggest 3 squat,deadlift, and bench and some assistance training excersises like chin ups and pull ups and leg extensions

i do those 3 days times 2 lol so i workout 6 days a week just because i love working out and i space my body parts to give them enough time to rest like bench on monday and thursday but im more of a powerlifter im just starting to really want to be lean for some reason lol out of no where and with this plan you can actually gain muscle mass and lose fat

Eating at night is fine, its actually a myth aslong as you meet you calorie intake if bulking or cutting.
If i wasnt on my phone i would post the link to nutrition myths (bodybuilding.com) I love my bcaa's while I workout and will help you while your on your fasting diet like this. I'm gonna have to try this diet again soon when i cut.
