Has my father gone NUTS??

ok so most of you know my father has a 427hp 2.3 thunderbird right?? well anyway he just purchased a 351w block and is gonna build it up with a 81mm turbo, now this 45 year old man is shooting for 1000hp...and hes putting in place of this 2.3, i think my father has lost it...

hes selling the 2.3 to my brother, but the thing of it is he wants to keep it a street car and an occasional track weekend, he wants to be able to stomp on vettes and lambos etc...basically anything that comes his way

hehe not after hes done with it, he just ordered Fiber glass doors, fenders hood and deck lid and spent $2000 or better on all that

That is the best part of getting older, we can spend as we see fit. My lil pony project is well above 25k mark but the wife don't complain, all the bills are paid and we eate well. Life is good, oh next time your at the track check the number of "old" that got the real mean machines. Hot Rodding, and going fast is a life time hobby. Anybody care to race Mr Shelby?
Your Dad is cool, get in there and help him. My son and I work pretty well togather, NOW. And he's learned tool conrtol, thanks to the USCG!

I still have a 59 Chevy Apache 1/2 ton shortbox that I need to get running. I'm only 20 on the 24th this month, probably won't look good and run good until I'm maybe 40. Plus I have 2 get a new engine, the straight 6 in there right now has about 150k miles on it. With my first child on its way in 2 months, I don't think I'll have any money for anything.

he is, but sometimes we get into fights but i guess its a normal father son type of thing especially when brawls start going, first it'll be me and my brother in a fist fight then my father will jump in on it and my mother will be standing there yelling and screaming for us to stop and my other brother will just sit there and play video games during the middle of it lol and then things start breaking nighbors are calling up and such so...yea it gets brutal but its all good afterwards lol
