unmanned radar stations bogus?

They put on of those radar stations in front of my house and I was watching it as I drove by ( instead of the road ironic safty right?) anyways because I wasnt watching the road I hit a chunk of asphalt and I heard a popping noise(shot out the side?) and As I made my turn I noticed it said 41mph in red flashing numbers. please dont tell me I will be getting a ticket for something this retarted. "no officer I always pull into my drive way at 41 mph." I hope that machine is just there to scare people into slowing down.

get this, ok in houston they are getting cameras to catch speeders and people who follow to close to the person in front of them, but instead of sending tickets they send warnings! im not sure if i should be happy that i wont get a ticket, or if i should be pissed because its a fucking waste of money...

Here in AZ they put cameras up on a section of the freeway. Which is total B.S. because the city of scottsdale put them up to monitor a state highway. So for the first three months or so all they sent out were warnings.

Good God man,
We use to cruise Main, and run back to Tempe from the cops. Once you got a rep a street racer, red_light-to-red_light, you got an escort form one end of town till you turned around. It was nothing to see full-altered drag cars me I ran C/hotrod It was always fun to wind it up and race for the canal just west of Mesa back in the day that was the dividing line tween Tempe and Mesa. And Mesa cops couldn’t cross it, and there was no inter connection tween the police. Than we’d ride Central in Phoenix too! Ah those were the days. Big races were out on the reservation south of town. Hey is Rundels speed shop, (just in side the city limits on what ever they call that street that runs into main in Mesa) or Lopers speed shop still around! God than smoking a big Bob Marley, and heading for Jack in the Crack (Box) for a dozen jack tacos to cure the munchies. Life was good!

I dont know about all of yall's but I know there putting cameras on big-rigs to catch traffic mishaps, for revenue. I mean safty...right? yeah. pass a 16 wheel catch a ticket the real crime is...

Its all about the dollar! If you are going 10 miles over, I did see how that is bad. Its all about the money. They want you money so they can spend more money. This has got to stop! We need to down size goverment.

I know this is dr. kill joy but if they really were worried about safty they would install computer sensors behind every speed limit sign that would set a computer generated govener to every car. For instance you pass a 40mph sign your car would not be able to go over 42 mph. but then you wouldnt have all that extra revune to blow on stuff we really dont need in the first place. bummer. then you wouldnt have to have as many full time cops or those officers can spend more time helping people instead of writing tickets all day.

its my only legal method to counter act the police lol Cant get radar detectors here so i have to import them and u get fucked large for that.
