I signed the petition and left a very nice comment for all to read. Thank you very much for posting this as I really don't want to see something like this legal action actually come to anything.

We have nothing to lose as Joe has a backup plan in case Ford tries to pull one on us :wink

I've gotta do another backup plan, reseach showed that the word "stang" is trademarked by Ford as well. But, I really really don't see any enthusiasts sites shut down. I see Ford only pursuing a few businesses here and there.

Trademark law is kinda fineky, if you don't enforce it then you lose it. It's possible Ford is only targetting a few places here and there, just enough to say their enforcing it. It's also possible that the attorneys are pushing things too far, and maybe Ford wasn't aware (although I'm sure their aware now).
