This morning about 0730 coming to work on Ft.Monroe one of the gate ramps that are were put out last night for force protection decided that it wanted to eat my passenger side flowmaster...And that is what it did...I was creeping over it hoping nothing would get ripped off...Well it caught the passenger side flowmaster and crumpled it a good one and pushed the exhaust tip on that side all out of wack...I got out of my car and the Military Police were there in 2.3 seconds (the mp office is right across from the front gate...They saw it happen)...

A MP came out and we had to take a bar and lift up on the flowmaster and then roll the car back...Then we had to fill out a police report and take pictures of the damage...I also had to call work and let them know I would be 5 or 10 minutes late...The whole process took well over 45 minutes...The MP also noted that gate was improperly installed...The right hand side of it was on the ground and the left hand side was about 3-4 inches up in the air...Also the MP said that they should have had a warning for lowered cars that they need at least so many inches to clear the ramp...They had nothing up about it and the MP noted both the improper install in the ramp and the no wanrning sign...

So in 7 days I will have my police report and the transportation office on Ft. Monroe will be cutting me a check for my new catback...Well that is how the MPs said it would work...I then got to work and talked to a guy that the same thing happen to him last year and it took them about 2 weeks to get him the money for his midpipe and catbakc on his Camaro...

So we will see...My car really is not that low...Its the bases fault so we will see if they take care of it...

So anyone know where I can pick up a flowmaster cat-back for a decent price? Hell any cat-back that will sound decent with my longtubes/off-road prochamber...Suggestions are welcome...

wow man that sucks... at least MILPOL was there and saw it happen. could have turned into a cluster fuck if they hadnt have seen it. good luck gettin you a new catback!

They were going to see it becuase I would have raised hell till they did...

And I would have made a few phone calls and it would have gotten real ugly...

I am going to get a MAC catback I believe...

I cant deal with the me knowing the exhaust is not right...

I got TDY to Fort Bragg in August so that when the "bigger" mods will come out of the wood work...

Shit man out here in SD they got fuckin trolly tracks that try to send my car into the air lol i used to bottom out my SVT on them things all the time its enough to piss a guy off but yea man hopefully the gvmnt pays up lol i know they get there money when they want it lol i know from navy experience but yea good luck with your exhaust.

Really? Hmm, i think they sound damn good.. But now that i think about it, i have only heard them on pushrod motors. I just purchased some dynomax race bullets.

Which Mac catback are you looking at? The Produmps sound good, but again, i have only heard them on pushrods...Nitro Lew on BGM was selling his Mac catback.
