Alright...being a 20 year old has its problems and I understand that but this is BS. I have gotten pulled over in my car five times in the last 9 months and only once for speeding.

Window Tint: 250 SO FAR in tickets (3)
No insurance: 100 (1)
Registration 50 (1)
Speeding 300 (1)

Doesn'y sound bad right...Well this is what gets me. I am followed around town by FHP, Sarasota Sheriffs, and Sarasota City...its so bad that my dad will follow me when I am in town or wont allow me to drive my car at night.

The only thing that helps me is that I have connections at the top of two of the three departments.

I love cops. I even tried to be one here in Omaha. I could not though because I was a white male. I beat every other minority on the test scores (I know because I have them as pals). what were you doing wrong that made you get pulled over besides the tint?

Funny, I got a tint ticket the other day... I said fuck it, removed the tints and went with 50% instead of 35, like I originally had, whats funny is, I was never pulled over in the 6 months I had my tints, and some stupid bitch of a cop pulled me over, in the rain, because she had stopped anothe guy for tints... I've passed 100's of cops before that, no one cared.

But most of those are you fault, I've only gotten one cause of an accident (chirpt the tires for half a second when I got into second gear (after I missed it) and I was doing 30mph)

and that no insurance ticket...well here in new york if u get caught drioving without insuracnce it's an automatic 700 dollar surcharge after the court fine. I got screwed years ago because of the black out, insurance check didn't go through, got pulled over for seatbelt, got the insurance ticket, and then went to court, and because the money didnt clear until 2 days after the ticket because it was now a weekend, i was at fault. My insurance company refused to issue me a letter claiming it was there fault because they were the ones who said my insurance was good, when it actually wasn't. Needless to say i switched providers after that.

u know, i had a friend with a similar situation. He drove a car that cosmetically matched no other, so u knew him when u saw him, and he drove like a dick. He lives down the road from a police precinct. Well for a period of about 3 months he got pulled over atleast once a week for being a dick. Chirping tires for no reason, not using signals, stupid juvenille crap. Then all of a sudden his lisence got suspended (unpaid tickets) and one day while getting pulled over guess what happened. Arrested and we had to bail him out. Cops only go after u if u give them a reason too. My friend obvioulsy did and everytime he got pulled over it was by the same 3 cops. They may pull people over for BS, (we all know window tint is BS, there just looking to make there Quota) but I'm sure you gave them a good reason 2 out of the 3 times. For all we know that speeding ticket could have been issued as the same time as one of the tints. Also, i personally have been given a choice on one occasion, tint ticket or speeding ticket, so for all we know, you could have gotten pulled over for doing 40 in a 30 and gotten a tint ticket and a warning. I hate the fact that cops do what they do, but at the same time, they are only doing there job.

i've been pulled over once in my mustang, it was at the apple blossom festival in Wenatchee, Wa. i was cruising around town and there were hundreds of cops. the cop that pulled me over said that my passenger wasnt wearing his seatbelt correctly. it turns out my friend who was in the passenger seat did have it on properly and also the tint on my car is so dark that you cant even see in the window. 25% sides 5% back. i think the cop just wanted an excuse to pull me over and make sure we werent drunk or high or something since my car does look like a drug dealers car lol. he didnt ask me for insurance, registration, or license either.. lol

in some states if ur insurance lapses, the company automatically notifies the DMV, and that registration is Suspended until the insurance is paid. As a matter of fact, u have to surrender plates no matter what, and if you don't ur liscence gets suspended. Once u surrender ur plates, u have to wait the period the plates were ilegally on ur car x 2. Then, you can re-register ur vehicle.

that could of happened to him, i know when it happend to my mom the cop let her off with a warning, but my mom was 50 and had her friend and me in the car. They were polite and grandma like. This kid is also twenty, and has his dad drive around behind him so he doesn't get harrased. Anyone smell PUNK? Just busting ur balls man. LOL

Im not venting on cops...

For one I have talked to our personal friends the Captain of Police and the chief of police and both said that was rediculous. I have a insurrance and a registration. The reason I got a ticket was because when I got my first ticket the cop forgot to give the paper back to me. Second everytime i get pulled over its just harrasment. I was sitting at a light with my windows down no mucis playing just waiting to go. the cop was at the light was well turning with me. he was 6 cars ahead of me. then the other ticket was I just got into my car at 10 at night and a state tropper pulled me over before I had moved the car ten feet.

Not to mention I have been pulled over by FHP and harrased for no reason, so bad to the point that I nearly wanted to go to jail, just so that it would be on record for me not doing anything wronge anf have their bagged pulled.

I have no problem getting pulled over when its my fault. Speeding is illegal and I know thats their job. However getting pulled over several times with my windows down, no mucis playing, just sitting at a light and harrasses is a little bad.

I will give you a reason why I hate Sarasota Sheriffs and FHP...

I wont say the name but the captain of police has been pulled over several times by SSD and FHP while driving to work in his police car. Then giving him a hardtime....in fact in one incident he was pulled over while he had his lights on trying to get to a scene...he was in full uniform and they still got out and wanted to talk to him....

So dont give me a hard time people....I have lots of friends on the force and value what they do...there are just some assholes who like to pull over people with nice cars and harras them
