1997 Ford Escort LX Sedan 0-60: 10.9 sec. 1/4 mi: 18.1 sec.
1995 Ford Mustang 3.8L 0-60:9.9 sec. 1/4 mi: 17.3 sec. Couldn't find numbers for the 95 Escort. Unbelieveable, but most people don't view the Escort as a performance car. Crazy, huh? lmao Top speed, I couldn't find anything on. I had a Focus that was governed at 170 km/h, which is about the 111 you mentioned, and I think the Escort is governed the same. I think the 95 V6 stang cars were governed at about 130 mph, but by the time you get there he should be a speck in your mirror, or will have popped his motor trying. lol

A 95 1.9L isn't governed. However, it's not going to beat a 3.8.

Tell him to do a GTX swap.
http://corksport.com/store/category/...c_engines.html Second engine down. He'll go from 88 hp to 180 on boost. He'll need GT axles & transmission. I believe the mounts are exactly the same though. |

The 1.9 comes stock with 88 hp. Whats the non turbo 2.3 have? uh... 90? Yeah... Still slow.

i know there not as heavy as a the 5.0's I'm talking about the .4 liter diference between the 2.3 and the 1.9
