Hurricane season

I hate the media. When hurricanes hit down here, the only show the coastal and tourist areas. They make it seem like hurricanes arent that big of deal inland. They always picture the "drama" for rateings but never show the real nasty stuff.

I have to drive alot for work. Especially at the end and after a hurricane. Last time one hit, I seen some stuff that was wack. I seen a hog that was cut clean into 2 pieces just south of Orlando near Lakeland on the road. I can only think that a piece of wood or metal cut him down the middle so clean. Not only that, but we were right in the eye of the storm and it was really weird.... just like a normal breezy day in Florida.... until the eye wall hit on the opposite side.

This year, Im going to get some sweet ass pictures that are uncut and post them. Some shizzizle that NBC is too wus to show or thinks is boreing because its not in a "republican" area.

I'll let this post fade away and re-ignite it when we get hit this year with catagory 3,4 or 5.

My friend and his family went to Vietnam last summer, he said they have dead dogs hanging from strings like chickens. And if you want, you can buy it, or you can sit down and have them cook one for you. They'll skin it right in front of you and de-bone it. I thought that was nasty, until they told me about the bugs they got over there.

I have a generator but I know what you mean. Cable goes out so it doesnt matter if you got power or not. In the new hoods, they burry all electricl and communications underground so we are less likely to lose anything here. However, the electric substation up the street is not protected...

I got a big generator, lots of gas, a portable a/c and an ice machine, we ready. Cold beer in the middle of a big blow is a wonderful thing!

... I haven't seen a hurican pass here since 1996... a little torment (or whatever is called in english when its less than a hurricane) and I spent the day riding my bike... I live on a hill too, have a generator to power my whole house and my hous is all cement and cynder blocks.
