grr makes me angry

ok so i have(had) 400 dollars today and decided to go around to exhaust shops to look for the best price on true dual exhaust, so long story short i called or went to over 20 exhaust shops and only found 1 shop that would even cut my y pipe after cats then go dual(all said its illegal) and they wanted over 650 for it and everywhere i went or called told me that a dual on v6 would sound like complete monkeys $hit, i also asked the shops if they could just split pipes after the y and every1 said it was to hard so i just said F exhaust for now, blew all my money on new car stereo and speakers

ill eventually get exhaust, but for now all i can say is that it pisses me off
any1 know any muffler shops near or around greenfield/milwaukee that would do the exhaust without charging double what it should

Ah the benefits of having an inline-4.. the illustrious true-dual exhaust is not necessary for a 4 banger.

Duels on a V-6 are a great mod. They sound better and add a bit to performance. The morons who were telling you that are jackasses. So what if they arent legal in Wisconsin, they dont have to give you some bullshit line and say they sound like monkeyshit.

Move out of the State. There isnt anything there but snow and cheese. Well maybe with your new stereo you can listen to Bret Farve lose another football game in the fall... ( did he really retire this time or what?)

nope he didnt retire..... he should have like 3 years ago, and how can u say snow is good it sucks for the mustang, and u forgot beer as a thing in wisconsin lol, but ya cant move out of wisconsin only 17, probally will go out of state for college
but every1 says that they cant touch y pipe legally and it was just pissing me off so im like f this and went to best buy, i dont get y they cant do it though its not like there taking off the cats
most likely i will probally end up just going wtih a upgraded single exhaust or buying one of those fake duals

Just keep lookin around. You'll find a shop that can do it.

When I had my 87 camaro I wanted true dual. I found a shop that did it for 500. No cats and 2 dynomax mufflers. all new pipping from the headers back.

the people that did mine just told me to buy the o/r h-pipe (or x-pipe) and they would install it and write it up as an accessory install. but thats totally up to them.

sometimes you pay to play.

why not buy a different mid pipe? you could install that yourself easily man. and get gt exhaust. i think its the mac midpipes that fit up to gt exhaust.

if worse comes to worse tell them its a track only car and will be used for "offroad purposes"
no reason for them to say no to that.

But then you would have to trailor it there and back! I say just buy a new mid pipe! It will be cheaper in the long run!
