A friend of mine's Mustang caught fire not to long ago, it started out as a fuel failure and then engulfed the whole car in flames

Hell yea! I had one in my dodge and it saved my ass once. Broke a tailshaft and somehow twisted the tranny to the point that ATF got on the headers and the wrap on the headers caught fire. If I didn't have a fire extinguisher, my car would have looked like your friends.

That sucks though, nice looking car.

For that matter I would suggest everyone keep a fire extinguisher in their car. Even if its not a race car. I bet that's a shitty feeling to have to sit and watch your car burn when all you have to do is put a fire extinguisher
in your car.

man thats horrible. I saw a turbo t/a today...made me change my mind about my setup again. I want to spend the money on some turbos again. What was he runnin in the 1/4 and about how much hp was he putting down?
