64bit AMD dual-core - Ubuntu install

any1 here have problems installin ubuntu's 64bit AMD version on a machine with a dual-core processor?

psh i coulda gotten an 8800GTX..... but then i wouldna had any money for the rest of my nu machine lol... 2GHz dual core, 2GB ddr ram (pc6400), 8500GT(S?) and a neat lil case with 2 digital thermometers and a lil lcd temp display

I got a Swiftech Dual 120mm rad, a thermaltake 120mm rad, a Koolance water block, the guetto chiller, a 8800GTX, a Intel QX6700 oc'ed to 3.2ghz, a PCP&C 610watt PSU and 4 80GB Hitachi sata 2 drives in Raid0, 2 GB of PC5300 that runs pc 6400 with only 1.8v and 4-4-4-4 timings, all installed in a P5W DH Deluxe inside a Full tower Thermaltake armor case.

wna know sumthin funny? my mobo's OC'ing utility says: v6, v8, v12 (v6 being basic OC'ing, and v12 destroying anything plugged into the mobo lol)

i h8 u...... well good news.... i got knoppix to run... once i get back from North Carolina, I'm gonna get ANOTHER fuckin S-ATA HD... and fopefully that one'll work.... but the machineis so fucked up.... only works like... every other restart.... fuckin biostar! don't fail me now!
