throttle body spacer


Do you think a throttle body spacer by itself will get you an 8 hp gain? For $80 do you think its worth it?????

carbd??? I thought the spacer was to increase the volume/speed of air going in? How does that only benefit a carberator?

because you can tune a carb.

There is just too much science to explain it in a short way, but HNUSN pretty much hit it on the head. Read up on it, there are alot of things that claim all kinds HP increases it just depends on your level of knowlwedge and how deep your pockets are. When it comes to spending your money look very carefully into what your buying. I just hate see folks get ripped off by some fancy snake oil sales man. Not putting you down just giving the benfit of my near 30 years of building cars...W>P>

not putting me down. I'll ask questions. I dont care how dumb. Its all fun to me.

Theres people on this site that will say that the throttle body spacer is the worst thing to buy.... yet they have one on their car and they dont even know it.

If Mr. Ford's engineers thought they could get 8 extra HP from a paper weight...they'ed a done it...put that 89 bux in your gas tank. :wink
