'03 Cobra Test Drive...

Well like the title says...I drove a '03 cobra yesterday, and i wasn't to overly impressed with the outcome of my experiance. it did have 56,600 miles and the dealership was asking close to 29k for the car. To top it off the car was repainted since you can see that fact from a mile away, and the clutch felt like a stage 2-3...stiff like a damn anvil.

Needless to say, the salesperson trusted me enough to romp it on the Beltway and i must say at 3k rpms it hit like a ton of bricks...but i was expecting a little bit more (Oh well...cant always have a perfect world).

But after driving it...my mind is now swaying heavily on just finding a fairly priced Cobra motor and trans., and then doing a swap...Or just build a little 2v from hell.

A local is selling his competition orange termi for 31K, about 10,2xx miles. very clean, nice wheels... I love the cars, wish i had the cash for one. Maybe after college.
