SRT4

So... my friend got anSRT-4 a while back. He got pulled over the other night and he got a ticket for going 30 mph over the limit. He said the cop did not realize he was racing because the car he was racing was so far behind. I say, "What kind of car was it?" He said, "An 05 Mustang." I can believe that, it must have been a 4.0. Then I said "Go race an SS Camaro and then tell me how it goes." He says, "Actuall I did race a Camaro SS on the highway and I smoked him." I respond, "Id say a sucky driver in the SS because I think their quicker." In which he responds, "Well I beat it bad enough that it wouldnt matter if he was bad or not."

Are they really that quick, or am I right for thinking an SS racing an SRT-4 would be a good race? I actually think the SS is about a second quicker in the 1/4.

The SRT-4 runs a 14.1 or so stock with a damn good driver...

The SS would rape him...

Thats what I thought. i was right. This kid is not a big bs liar, im sure he just doesnt realize that the driver makes a BIG difference. Now that I think about it, 14.1 will lose to a Z28, and be a good GT race, right?

Hood, wing, power steering cooler, bigger sway bars, 17's, exhaust, and badges. There was options too. The lid was an option in 2002, in the other years there was centermount and dual-daul exhaust option. And there was a Bilstein and 1LE suspension option, and wheel options like ZR1's and G-Force tires.

When they talk about mods they often refer to a whisper lid. Is that like a CAI? That makes me mad, I secretly had my eyes on E V E N T U A L L Y beating 2 Z28's in my hometown.
