getting my first oil change soon . let me know which ones better lol its been a year and i still didnt drive 3k

I have Royal Purple in my Engine with a K&N oil filter, in my 3650 transmission(really helped with quick shifting) in my newly rebuilt 8.8" rear end(Auburn Pro diff, 31 spline axles, 4.10 gears) and in my freshly flushed cooling system.

I love the stuff except the damn prices.

Royal Purple and AmsOil are two of the best known synthetics and more expensive to boot. I have used amsoil in the past and it is a great product, transmission shifts easier and not as notchy feeling and you can extend your oil change interval.

SAme grades as recommended by your manual. I can't remember off the top of my head but I think the oil is 5w20.

he should be using 5w20 i have 5w30 in my 98 and i use royal purple. i use it in everything even the lawn mower gets it now

I usually use Mobil 1 but this last oil change I used Royal Purple instead and changed the transmission oil with royal purple... nice oil but it is pretty damn expensive...

i used motorcraft trans oil i still have shitty shifts

i used mobil 1 in the engine.
