Yeah earlier this year I went and seeked some help with some personal issues here at my base. Air Force by the way. Well about a month ago I was told I am being discharged for these reasons for which nothing is ilegal nor against and AF regulations. Well a month plus has went by and I still am not allowed to see this paperwork nor will until I am served and it's underway. Bullshit. I thought innocent until proven guilty but I guess I missed that episode of Law and Order! I have been in over 10 freaking years deployed numerous times. All this paperwork has went to my command and approved by him without even fucking knowing the details. Fucked up that I am defending right to this country and yet we are entitled to them!! It's bullshit. Then take into account I am married with 2 kids and a 3rd due in Oct. Yeah! Sorry had to vent so I don't knock someone out!

Then they will get you what you need to know...And can fight it to let you stay in if you want to...

(a) No charge or specification may be referred to a general court-martial for trial until a through and impartial investigation of all the matters set forth therein has been made. ART. 33. FORWARDING
When a person is held for trial by general court-martial the commanding officer shall, within eight days after the accused is ordered into arrest or confinement, if practicable, forward the charges, together with the investigation and allied papers, to the officer exercising general court martial jurisdiction. If that is not practicable, he shall report in writing to that officer the reasons for the delay.

I know it might be expensive, but the best thing to do is to get a civilian lawyer that handles military cases. He will give you a consultation free probably. It all just depends on how bad you want to stay in or if your plans included retirement.

WTF? What on earth would they freak out and kick you out for? Are you sure it's not illegal? Molesting goats will usually get you wierd looks not kicked out. J/K. Did they tell you why you are getting booted? Any specific reasons? You talked to your legal department and they told you to flip off or what?

The bad thing is that wthis will reflect badly upon you when trying to get a good job out in the civy world. I would fight this so it doesn't follow you everywhere. For real.

BTW, I wish we were allowed to stay at 1 command for our entire career. I have to move all over the F'ing place every 2-3 years. I hate that shit.

Well to put it, at this point it doesn't matter, I had a serious drinking problem and self ID'd. I went to my appts etc rescheduled 2 due to emergency leave and early on during the "mock" AA meetings I was honest, and freaking shoot me now, mentioned I had a relapse. This was a week after rehab and me and my wife seperated while I was on deployment and to come back to that....hello relapse city. Well because, and this is only second hand I don't know, I didn't approve the leave through them and had a relapse is the grounds for my dirty boot!

One other detail, is early we had to do a paper on what brought us to 'self id" I wrote the paper, my next appt they asked for a person to read it, so I did and they were appreciative that I did. I didn't turn the paperwork in for which they didn't ask for and the 3rd reason for discharge was refusal to do homework....homework in AA meetings. I missed that at check in...sorry still I little ticked off
