so my ipod fuxed up and for some reason decided to delete everything i had on it. so i just spent over 2 hours putting everything back on it. close to 9,000 songs and 8 movies

did you either a. try to download songs from some elses ipod or b. on your itunes under options have auto updat selected?

i think it messed up when i just unplugged it when it said don not disconnect. i was in a hurry last night cause i had to take my dog to the emergency vet so i just unplugged it without ejecting it

yeah that will do it to, it sucks. When I first got mine itunes was had by default auto update selected and after I had d/l'd 10k songs I hooked it back up to arrange my songs and poof they were gone I was pissed.

lol yea i was too cause they have come out with two different updates for the itunes in the past two weeks and everytime i do the update it deletes the songs from my library so i didnt put the songs back in there but now i put it there so if it happens again it wont be such a pain

your ipod sucks cuz its an ipod. idk why, some last, some dont. i have had friends who have had them for 2 years, then others cant go 4-6 months without it getting all fucked up. cds FTW hahah. jk i need a damn mp3 player.

Mines been runing for a year and a half... I've also had several ipods, but I have extended warranty, so a new upgraded ipod is 40 bucks cause I buy the warranty again, I went from a simple Gen3 10GB (back in like 2002 or something) to a 60GB iPod video this way. hooray for Compusa!!!

not trying to pick on u, but if u were in such a hurry cause of ur dog.....y not just leave the music at home? Were u just all flustered because it was an emergency and weren't thinking? I know if something was wrong with my dog music would be the last thing on my mind...

it wasnt a life or death situation. he has been vomiting for two days straight and wouldnt keep anything down. we just got him back from the vet about 5 minutes ago. i took my music cause i wasnt sure if we were going to have to wait for awhile and if there was going to be barking dogs and meowing cats so i could just put the headphones in and turn up the music

I got the Ipod Video when they came out... the 80GB didn't exist... I plan on "breaking" my ipod before the warranty ends to get upgraded to a 80GB... mine has like 10GB's left...

well i have 9K songs and 8 videos lol. i havent been traveling much so i dont have a need to put videos on my ipod. every new song that comes out ive been just putting on my ipod. it will get filled up eventually. and plus i have a portable dvd player and over 300 dvds
