I got it for $850.00

has a lift straight 6 and a 4 spd.

than after that I plan sanding the hell out of it and tossing on a cheap paint job.

isn't that in the year range when the gas tank was right behind the seat and if you got t-boned you would basically blow up? if it's not then that was a pretty decent find

how long did they have the gas tank behind the seat? i know we have a 1965 ford truck with the tank in the cab

i'm not 100% sure on the exact years, but i do know that it wasn't until the late seventies through i think the mid eightys that they were behind the seat, other than that i think they were all inside the frame area, so your truck would be fine because before and after that timeframe they were built without that flaw
