Been thinking about lifting my Jeep

Ive been tossing around the thought of putting a 3.5" lift kit on my jeep. Figured id ask everyones opinion about it. Can be good or negative.

dude do it like this

lift the body off the frame and put hocky pucks in between with lnger bolts

WA LA instant lift, seriously tho, alot of guys do that, my pops did it on his CJ5

I like the one in the pic, but I think if you had longer axles or at least wheel spacers on it...it would look even more bad ass. I love the look of a lifted truck with the wheels out even farther.

theres a law here that prevents a certain amount of tire spacing outside the fender well. I'd have to look into it. I wouldnt mind getting the 3.5" inch lift and spacing the tires about 3" wider. What I like about this one site i see the kit on, i can get the whole thing w/o the spacers. And the extended shocks (since factorys wont fit) for 710$ shipping.

not bad. Yea, VA has a bunch of dumb laws in my opinion when it comes to lifting trucks and such.

my buddy at ford has a jeep TJ and its lifted with 44's and its got some dcals that say MUD SLUTT "Hittin Every Hole!"

dont get a body lift please, they are GAY! unless you go with maybe a 4in suspension lift and a 1in body lift, then it wouldnt be that bad. but just a body lift is stupid. my friend has a 99 grand cherokee limited and he wants to lift it but he is having a difficult time finding a cheap kit. they are all expensive as hell for those things!

Well I dunno about the grand cherokee's but i know the XJ's are unibody, and as far as putting spacers on the wheels, don't just get a different offset rim or wider tires, but a lift looks nice i had a four inch rough country lift with my XJ and i loved it. make sure you get ss brake lines youll find out why, and a longer pitman arm.
