I've been to the air and space museum on Independence Ave. in DC numerous times, but they opened up another building at Dulles airport a few years ago, and I had never been. I was stuck out there all week, so I decided to stop by, and ended up spending all day in there, and had an awesome time. These are just a few of the pictures I took there. Some are blurry because my camera is kind of shitty.

The SR-71 is just bad ass to me

If was kind of funny when we saw a group of Asians taking pictures of this. We wondered if they new it leveled a few of their cities.

This is a space shuttle main engine

Here are few pictures of a storm we went around on the way home. It's a small one, but I still think storms are cool looking up close. These are probably 3 miles off our wing.

NICE!!! I love planes, or air/spacecraft of any kind! 'Course I'd lose my job in a heartbeat if I took any pics of the planes I work on (Boeing has some strict policies 'bout that), but those are some nice photos man, thanks.

damn that SR-71 is sweet. and the asians and the enola gay is like jews driving german cars

in all honesty I have a friend who flew SR-71s but thats all he'll tell me. i wonder what mach 3 feels like? and the space shuttle engine has a huge ass turbo on it

Yeah, I have some of my white car with the planes, but I haven't got around to doing it with the blue car. It could be a few weeks though, because they have our airport closed to resurface the runway, and our planes our about 100 miles away right now, so we're having to commute that far to work, and I can't afford the gas to do it in the stang. When they open the airport back I can do it.

I love the SR71 worked a few on them 4 or 5 blips at the 240 mile range on the OD58 radar scope. Squawing a 4400 code at flight leve (near the moon) Had one come and do some low passes, Ver cool gave me wood!
