600 really is a perfect all around size...

I got my motorcycle endorsement the day i turned 17, but i have been on them all my life....

If you have NEVER been on one, EVER, i suggest getting a 250, or practice a bit on a dirt bike...a 600 can get away from you just like a bigger bike...

Just be easy with it at first, and BE CAREFUL...I suggest a nice jacket, gloves and helmet...Boots or at the least high top shoes until you get the feel of the bike. And dont forget to put your feet down...lol

And i suggest taking a motorcylce riders course...I did it, basicly for fun, but i really did learn more than i did before...Go to your local dealer and get more info.

Nice, donate your organs before you buy it. I cna' tell you how many very qualified M/C drivers have met thier end due to a blue hair or just some other supid ass whipe that can drive a car/truck. Just don't do it! Get a dirt bike!

nah i dont have a street bike.. i ride dirt. i dont feel like having my life taken by someone elses stupid mistake that i cant control. but my neighbor does have one, i whip it all the time and love it. my sisters bf has a 97 yamaha 750, and the R6 would OWN it. but yea man if u dont know how to ride dont just go hop on a nice r6 you WILL drop it, everyone i know that got a bike without really knowing how to ride messed it up in the first few months, get a dirtbike for 6 months and learn how to ride before you get a bike.

maybe you will realize how much sicker motocross is and just stick with that

wheelies are sick, once you find your balance point they are unstoppable. dont do them on a 4 stroke too much tho, my buddy used to do them alllll the time on his 4 stroke then the motor blew, due to oil not being cycled right when the bikes tipped back.

I agree with everything said here. I ride an 05 Yamaha WR450 and its plenty fun for me. I don't want to put my life in the hands of some old fart who desides to pull out in front of me.
