everybody watch what happened 1:38 into the vid.

the person in that car could have easily thought it was a police car coming up behind them and therefore moved into the right lane, just like you're supposed to when there is an emergency vehicle coming towards you. if they would have done that, BOOM there would have been at least two dead people as a result. racing is cool and fun, even when it is occasionally on the street. but for fuck sake dont fly by other cars like that!!

Well, kinda, sorta. I don't do desk work other than trip related information & some hazmat training. We have small hand held portable data units that interface with a normal desktop pc, which we use for bills of lading & customer information, but that's about it.
We spend more delivering tham the majority of drivers. The hydrogen pumps really slow due to it's incredibly low density, so we spend anywhere from an hour to 5 hours on the ground, per delivery, and we do anywhere from 4 to 12 deliveries a week, depending on where our trips take us.

Alright after watching this vid and the one from another site I am on. I think this might be the same GT500 and the same Z06. Neither are stock and the cobras they race are mean as hell.

as much as i hate to agree with 2000Si im gonna have to on this one lol

lets say a guy who just won the lottery for $100k wanted to buy a new car but knew nothing about cars was given the specs on the z06 and the GT500.. i highly doubt he would buy the GT500.. people dont buy the GT500 to be able to spank any car on the street.. but that is why people buy z06s.. theres not really a logical reason to buy a GT500.. its just something that you know you have to have even though its not the best of the best

Hi,

I'm the ZO6 owner and a friend that reads through this site told me my video was being discussed and I thought I'd pop in and say hello. To help clarify a few things that some people were asking....

1. The GT500 owner is Dgussin1 (Dave). He just dyno'd his car and was running 566 RWHP for our run (he added full exhaust before we raced). He is hoping to run high tens his next time out.

2. Dave ran that red ZO6 with headers the week before on that video he has floating around. After that race he was pretty sure he could beat a stock ZO6. This is why I was called, I just bought my ZO6, and had 800 miles on it when we ran. I still have the temp tags, and no modifications to date. I am use to driving/racing GM 6 speeds, so I felt very comfortable with this car from day one. My ZO6 is black, the modded one from the previous video from Dave was red.

3. Speeds never surpassed or really even went upto 165 from my end (not saying this was ok, or condoning street racing of any sort, but I don't think I even shifted into 5th gear except for one of the runs. 4th gear runs upto 160)

Yikes, GT500 with pullie, intake, custom tune, and full exhuast only dynoed 566rwhp! Uhhhh.... someone is not a very good tuner! Just a tune on a GT500 puts your a hair over 500rwhp
