1979 Notch update

Got the sanding and bondo work done today. Then spray bombed some flat black on her, and put the front end back together. Looks ALOT better now. I wont be ashamed to drive it now!!!!

I cant paint the hood and front bumper. I sold those online to a guy, just waiting on him to come pick them up. they are just on there until i can find an 83-86 header panel to use with my 86 front end. and to keep the city ordinance guy off my ass for having a car sitting in parts

its got about 5 coats or so of paint and its been wet sanded, could use a little more wet sanding though

Lmao, Im not sure what part you missed bro!

No I didnt do much prep on the doors, fenders, or decklid. I hit em with 180 on the DA sander thats all I done on those parts. Those are all parts that I am gonna replace, the only part I will be reusing are the 1/4 panels and the roof! Everything else is gonna be new. Yes I did prep the 1/4 panels and the roof. Why prep parts that arent gonna be on the car much longer. I only painted it because I had to sand down the 1/4s and roof because of some panel repairs they needed. So I thought I should just paint the whole thing because it would look really awful with just the roof and 1/4s painted!

I see what your talking about.
I dont know why its like that in the pic, its not like that on the car. And for some reason photobucket degrades the quality of my pics when I upload them.

if you say it isn't on your car then good.

the rest of the job does look good.

Ok Im going outside to see if its on the car right now........yep not on the car. But I do see what your talking about and I see it in 2 of the pictures which is really weird. I am satisfied with the outcome, although its not been polished like you mentioned. This is just a temp solution right now.
