the five-speed automatic offers an activematic mode and wheel-mounted change buttons to maximise driver involvement and driving fun. six-speed manual transmission.

chassis and suspension
active torque split (ATS) AWD system automatically adjusts front/rear wheel torque distribution between 100:0 and 50:50

4 wheel disc brakes

front setup: independent double wishbone with coil springs and cylindrical double acting shock absorbers

transverse-mounted, front-wheel drive with limited-slip differential

rear setup: independent e-type multi-link with low profile springs and cylindrical double acting shock absorbers

wheels and tires

tires: 215/45 R18 89W
wheels: 18 x 7.0 J (alloy)

acceleration from 0 to100 km/h in 6.1 seconds

10.0 litres per 100 km combined cycle fuel consumption

new front end design includes larger air intake, “floating image” fog lights and 20 mm wider fenders

rear end with 95 mm diameter tail pipe and a roof spoiler

the optional sports pack adds bose sound, xenon headlamps, half leather trim, high gloss finish alloy wheels

protected by a three year/unlimited kilometre warranty and like the RX-8, MX-5 and Mazda6 MPS, it also comes with an advanced driver training course and 24 hour roadside assistance.

the aussie's really have some nice turbo daily drivers availible i wish that would happen in the us, ford au seems more performance oriented, maybe it is all in what our government will allow???
