Used Seafoam for the first time today.

Found out my vacuum tube needs to be replaced since it's kinda deteriorating. Scared the shit out of me because it started smoking before I was done. Then I remembered it was supposed to do that. So far so good, and I haven't really noticed a difference, but I also don't think my engine was all that dirty. So next is to replace my fuel filter after my oil change.

There wasn't a lot of smoke. I had a good cloud, but that lasted all of 20 seconds.

I added it into my gas tank...I called a representative and he said that works just as good for cleaning out the system....Doesn't give off the pretty smoke show, but does the job....On another note...I never felt a difference.

i guess the dirtier your engine the more smoke will come out? if so, maybe shell and chevron gas really do clean your engine, thats all i use.
when i used seafoam a little spurt of gas came out.

suck 1/3 of can through vaccum tube
put 1/3 in gas tank
and 1/3 in crankcase.
just make sure you change your oil after putting it in your crankcase. i think you let it run for a few minutes or something like that.

I put a 3rd in the gas tank, 3rd in the tb through the vacuum tube, and a 3rd in the crankcase.

The vacuum tube is what puts on the smoke show. You don't have to change anything out.

They always recommend that you get an oil change after you do it, but you have 100-500 miles about to get your oil changed. I'm gonna change it in about 100-300 miles. Make sure it gets into everything.

Yep the more carbon built up the more smoke. Don't change your oil automatically after you use it. Let it sit and do it's job give it time to cycle through everything.

On a side note. I did notice a difference. I really paid attention to what my car was doin and how it was acting, and I am impressed at what a $5-$9 lf stuff can really do.
