So the other night me and my friend were cruisin around and i saw this cop that was going the other way right past me. I wasnt even paying attention to how fast i was going at all , but i was in a 35mph speed zone. About a minute after i saw that cop im pretty sure it turned around and it pulled me over. I was like ooo fuck ( i had illegal substances in my car too). So when the cop came to my door i saw that it was a chick cop and she asked " do you know why i pulled you over sir?" Im like "no" she said i was doing a 51 in a 35 i didnt even realize it. So she gave me a speeding ticket and i just went home. Whne i looked at the ticket at home i saw that where it said Make for the car she put down Chevy. Im like wow are you shitting me thats just mean to say i drive a chevy. So after this i learned two things: I need a police radar, and chicks cops dont know shit about cars.

Has anyone ever been to traffic school? If yea what do you do there?

Traffic school is nothing, I had to go to a 4 Hour class and we prolly spent 30 minutes talking about traffic safety, the guy I had was talking about Movies, Drugs, and his Supercharged S2000....lol

If the info is wrong on the ticket...it doesn't mean anything!...you got lucky! Take it to court!

I remember when I moved here, a cop on a Sunday, with his wife in their Solara, followed me to the gas station to bitch at me for leaving a 40+ feet long "drags" on his neighborhood roads... He told me that if I thought I had a fast car, to re-think my position because his cruiser could leave me in the dust and if I ever did that again, we would put me in jail. Ironically, his son was being ticketed on the other side of the parking lot for speeding in his supercharged S4. The son came over to ask his dad to PLEASE talk to the other officer and the cop just looked at me with shame in his eyes. I just got back in the car and drove away as he was yelling at his son. He got Pwned right there! Two days ago, the same cop saw me and waved hello as he made an U-turn and followed me to the next light just to say hello and to thank me for not leaving more marks on the roads... I guess he doesn't patrol "the street" where I warm up my tires...

Bottom line, cops are not perfect. And yes, his patrol car is a modified Florida Patrol Camaro, LS1.

yep fight it you lucky bastard. and traffic school was kinda boring. the cop that was leading it wasnt too happy after we spent an hour going around the room saying why we were there. guess he doesnt like that i almost hit a cop head on lol. oh and every hour we took a 15 minute break

3 options:

1. Go to court and try to fight it - Court Costs - Could still have to pay for ticket or traffic school
2. Pay the ticket and go on with your life - Lose Points On Your Lisence
3. Pay for the traffic school and sit in a class for a couple hours - No Points for Ticket...Easy Class

I would just do the traffic school...

my friend got pulled over for doing 111 in a 65. when he went to court, the cop showed up, and told the judge that my friend said "i was speeding because im running late for court"
apparently the judge that it was funny because he started cracking up and let my friend off with $295 fine and $100 to charity.
no classes, no suspension, just some of his paycheck

i got pulled over on my bike on christmas ,for doin 62 in a 45, by one of the ohp driving a ls1 camaro i guess the week before i went by his house at 150+ and he had a hard on for me and was sayin i wish youd have run so i could chase theres no way you couldve outran me and all this shit threated to take me to jail blah blah blah then gave me a ticket for no insurance and speeding followed me to my house and then parked at the end of my dirt road for a while. fought the ticket got it dropped down to less than 10 over and dropped the no insurance.

question... if you go to traffic school for a speeding ticket, that means you do not have to pay the ticket? or do you still have to pay it, but you dont get points on your license? also, does your insurance go up if you go to traffic school?

the other day, some kids BMW was stolen and it took 45minutes for the police to finally arrive....

cops take atleast a half hour to get to a crime seen

but you'll always find state police on the highways with camaros more then anything

i was begining to wonder if there police issue here in Ny?
