this is my bed for college. no its not going to be that low. its gonna be about a foot taller where the bed lays. my question is should i paint it or stain it?

I have one of those in my garage too! we got it for free last year, and my sister didnt want to loft her bed so we keep i and now its just in the way!

its a loft bed. the bed is on top and you can have like a lounge or a futon underneath it. its good if you dont have a lot of space which i dont with a 9'8" x 15' dorm

HAHA yea weve had that for like 4 years. they dont have an ACE by us in toledo oh we got it when we lived in cali still and just last week the damn garbage guy broke the handle so we arent going to get a new one since he broke it so he has to deal with picking up a heavy broken trash can

ok now go back and vote and i will probably go with stain because what color could i possibly paint it and have it look good. and to paint it we have to go and buy paint. we already have like 15 different kinds of stain in the cupboards you see int he pictures

i would say paint if youve never stained before or i you go stain pick up a book and do some sample pieces
btw cant tell by the pics i would take a router to to the edges will clean it up a bunch if you didnt already

ive stained before. and yea im going to cut a little bit off the top still and sand everything down. put a ladder on the side, a table that sits off the side, and a couple book shelfs
