Ford probe vs 06v6 hmmmmm...lmao


alright so something is pissing me off. There is a guy here with a ford probe here. Just exhaust has been done to it. He is just talking mad hell about beating my 06v6 mustang. I dont even think i should waste my time messing with him. Let me know maybe the probes a sleeper i doubt it.

... and they are just as heavy...

ha no the mx series was gonna be the ones they switched over to it... ha but ford fans wrote in and said that is was insane to do that ... so they kept the stang rear wheel drive and then invented the probe... this was back in the fox's day when the probe first came out

But the motor takes mods well. I had a Probe GT w/ Pacesetter headers and full exhaust and intake and dyno'd at 215 wheels... I think a mustang would take it if only an intake but they don't weigh much and the motors aren't bad if you let'em breath

they are ok motors.

I had one in my poontour (contour) but my 2.5 was a tad more powerful than that... that dohc takes to mods easier as well. I agree.


but stock for stock ... the mustang would win that race

They have great motors for bolt ons... my buddy as one and will beat v6's all day. Now he has a klze in it.

I bet any amount of money you take a Stock V6 Mustang and a Ford Probe GT and you will lost at the track...and Tjames specs on paper dont mean a damn thing...at no point does he say how good of a driver u are...nor does it say about ur one wheel peel...u couldnt leave the line worth a shit...my car runs 15.4s but will walk on a car that runs consistent 15.0s at the track because i know they are getting a shit load of traction over me...take it on a roll and i will walk on them...14.5-14.7 cars i will hang with until the top end

soooo, your telling me that a car with 30 less horsepower and 60 less torque will beat me with no problem???? i understand that numbers dont take into account the driver, but honestly if you just assume im a decient driver how could it possibly take my car
