Carlisle, MSO. Just outside of Harrisburg. They have an 82 acre fairgrounds there. Of course, I'm just throwing that out there, I'm sure there are lots of other great spots.

And if we do this, and are serious about it, we will indeed have to pick a responsible person to head everything up. And if we go for a hotel, we'll also have to start thinking in advance so people can book rooms. But we have to do it one step at a time.

The first thing would be to pick a date.

Then pick a location.

Once that is settled upon, we can perhaps pick a person close to the chosen site. That person would be able to scout out places to hold the meet, possible shows in that area we can attend, and hotels so we don't wind up in a place that is shitty or too expensive.

MSO, for me, it will have to be next summer. I have no vacation time left for this year, so any events/meets put together for this year I won't be able to attend. Planning one for next summer gives people more time to prepare and perhaps save money for things.
