u kno, jus cutting the hood in half, making little "scoops" with bondo, losing the keys so i have to bust the ignition and cut my trunk open (which is where my tail lights are..), he cracked a tail-light trying to make it "custom"

he's like "it will look good split open"

now i did say i wanted a split hood, but u kno, i meant like buy another one and make THAT one split hood and rig up the hinges and all that

so the next day i go up the garage and he's like "i got a surprise for you"

You know, far be it for me to tell a teenager to go against his old man. And I'm sure in other areas he's a great dad, he's just psycho with your car. I've known a couple guys like that. Maybe you need to sit down with him one day, and say "Dad. Listen. I love you. But please, please stop helping me with my car. I need to learn how to do this stuff on my own, and every time you do something, I'm not learning how to do it myself. Besides, and I know you can probably kick my ass & evict me, if I come home and find one more thing cut off/open/assunder on my car, I may temporarily lose my insanity and turn your car in to a convertible."
