Need your opinions on my decision

Im gonna tell you guys my story and i'd like your opinions. My dad has been fixing up a building to make it into a resturaunt\gas station for a while now. He has found that it takes alot of money to open up a business. For example, he just bought the hood that goes over the stove... $8,000. My dad ownes about 5 houses because he fixes them up and sells them. Well, he has just sold a house and all of that money will go to the resturaunt. I have worked in a resturaunt for 4 years previously, and my girlfriend has even longer. I know my dad must be worried sick about this business. It will make him or break him. I think I need to be there to do my best in assisting my father, so today me and my girlfriend dropped all of our classes and we plan on moving back to our hometown just to be there everyday to help the resturaunt. My dad has already told me that he will not be able to meet my current rate of pay. I make $9.51 an hour at my job now, and I make $10.51 on Sunday. My girlfriend had a waitresing job where she could make $150 on a good Saturday night. I know that this might be a bad choice in the long run, but I will never have the chance to assist my dad in opening his business again. If it is a bad idea, I am fully prepared to return to college. My parents have told us that this might be our resturaunt when they retire. My mom plans on quitting her current job to be there as well. My dad is keeping his current job, as of now, to provide a dependable income for our family. What do you think about our decision? Im actually kind of excited and scared.

But, by helping him ive created more problems. He owns the house that I live in here in Springfield and he lives 1.5 hours away in Adrian. There wont be anyone living in this house. He will have to rent it or sell it.

rent it out on a yearly lease.
that way you can boot the renters when you decide to move back.

i say its a bad decision to drop out of school for that reason. i say finish school, and then o help. education is one of the mot important things in life
