poll: should I?

okay, i have decided on my exhuast setup. i am going wiht the l/t with o/r h-pipe and with the SLP lmII. no my ? is, should i replace my v6 bumper with a regular gt bumper so i can run the exhaust tips out, or should i keep the v6 bumper and put turn downs off of the mufflers? anyways let me know what yall think

keep the bumper, i have mine dumped with a v6 bumper, it looks cleaner

Why not go with a shaved 03/04 rear bumper?

I think they look great on stangs...

Keep the V6 bumper. I am 50/50 on leaving my setup as is or dumping flowmaster 40 series after the H pipe and before the rear axle assy.

anyone know where i can get some turndowns that will bolt to the muffler that i dont have to weld on. id like to keep the functionality of the slp modular muffler system!

everytime i saw someone go for the v6 bumper it was because they wanted to go side exit, i wonder how the turndowns would affect the sound?

Much louder in the cabin, and little louder outside. The tips pointed downwards will bounce the sound from from to underbody several times before exiting. Don't drive a dirt road with turndowns unless you want a dust storm though

yeah everytime i pull around other cars in the driveway it would make a big dust storm!!

well you should be able to get some at advance auto parts or autozone and then just use exhaust clamps, i personnal just welded mine on.

you can also use the band clamps for exhaust. I use them on my car and they make it very easy to r&r them if need be.

i also saw some down at pep boys the other day, when i was picking up my APC stickers.
