well i was bored, and i was reading about this car called the Ultima GTR.. some of you have most likely heard of it.. it is a UK built supercar, in kit form, that uses a Chevy donor car (corvette). its a pretty unbelievable car.. 0-60 in 2.6, 1/4 mile in 9.9, 0-100-0 in 9.4, top speed of 200+

anyways, like i said, its an unbelievable car.. there are less than 100 in the country right now..

so here is what im trying to get at. i was reading about the cars on their website, and what they are capable of, and a link caught my eye, saying that all of the rights to the company, manufacturing, advertising, the whole company in general was for sale in the US for around $3M.. i was thinking of how awesome it would be to form a parterneship wth a few people and buy out the business and start of setting up a dealership or 2 with the cars for sale.. if each person pitched in an equal amount, we could get it up and running, and have the potential to make billions in just a few years.. i know what you are thinking, yeah yeah yeah, bwal only works at arby's, how can he afford to pitch in.. well lets just say i am expecting to run into some money pretty soon.. and, if we had enough people, each person would only have to pitch in a very small amount of money..

i know it would never work, and i am just letting my mind cut loose on the whole situation, but i think it would be cool.. im just a kid with a big imagination lol

The machines needed to bulid a car$$
The American licenses$$
The materials to manufactuer it$$

All the other things that are needed before a car is sold like... electricity, labor, insurance.

The next big ugly is marketing.

It looks to me like the only thing for sale is the idea and some paper with a little bit of a name most people dont recognize. This would be much more expensive than 3mil. I would triple that before the first car is sold.

The car doesnt look street legal either. How much of a market is there for a car like that? I have no clue.

Boy, sorry to be so negative. Im not like that. I bet you could come up with a better investment for your million $$. One that would turn more money quicker. However, it would be the SHIT to own your own car company. That would be real cool to do something you like.
