Need for Manual Transmission Tutorial for newbies

I know this seems really dumb to ask.. but I've always drove automatic transmission and I'm lookin at getting a gt manual transmission and I need some input on how to correctly drive one of these.

I have watched a ton of youtube videos tryin to learn ( because I dont have a manual transmission car to use or practice on ) and all of them are different with diff opinions.

Can we see someone who is really good/smart at shifting techniques that could write up or even video tape a manual tutorial??

I hope I dont get too flamed, just want to learn more.

Thanks

If you know the basics, it'll be easy... I learned on my GT, and after a week I was romping through the gears without missing a beat.

I taught myself when I worked at a Dodge dealer in High school. Nothing like learning to drive a stick on someone elses brand new car. Especially since it was a Dodge...

The GT's are easy to learn on with the hydraulic clutch. Just takes some practice.

Theres a 94 year old Portugees woman that lives 2 houses down. I swear this is true. She never had a drivers license until her husband passed back in March. She traded in his car and bought herself a brand new Pathfinder. Everybody in the hood is freeked out because shes so old but also because its a MANUAL! She drives it just fine (as far as weve seen).

If she can do it, you better be able to. Thats all I can say.
