725HP Super Snake Shelby.... I want one, any word on how much they are and all that. This thing is bad.... I know i might be a little late but wow nice ride.

Wasn't the list price for the standard GT500 around $45,000? Dealers around here were selling them for $60,000. I imagine that the Super Snake will go for considerably more.

i believe that youhave to own a GT500 and then send it off to shelby for the upgrades to the super snake.

No they will be producing the Super Snake, not a package for the GT500's. I've heard pricing rumors to be around 70-75k(sticker).

that's what i read in Motor Trend in May. and actually, in the article in the link, it says that the Super Snake is "Shelby's next performance package extension for the GT500"

There will be two versions of the SuperSnake coming. A 600-ish hp version with warranty, and the 725 hp version with no warranty.

Buy the GT500, send the car in along with a check for 28k and you'll get a supersnake back =)

Pretty much bullshit... You can just throw on a KB 2.8 stg.3 and be right near 700.

man, if i bought a new GT500 and wanted the supersnake upgrade, and they wanted me to pay 28k for it, theres no way i'd ship it off for a few weeks (or however long) and be without it.. for 28k carrol shelby himself better come to my house and work on my car and then buy me a steak and lobster dinner when he is done!

yep its only available if you already own a gt500 and you have to send it off to shelby in nevada. and dearlerships most likely wont be selling one unless they send one off and get it back and try to sell it on their lot. and 28K seems a little high. i thought it was like 15-20k

Why?... is all I can say. It will still have around the same 1/4 mile numbers as the GT500 as long as it has all seasonal radials on the car. They should start putting more interest in handling and traction, especially if they are going to up the mustangs HP numbers that high.
