asleep or awake? whats the way to go?

gotta get # 31 pulled. Damn thing cracked and Im sick of taking vicodin. Should I go the knock out way or get the local needle. I just hate having that swollen cheek feeling for hours afterwards. Plus, the last time I got novacane, I started shaking like I had kids parkinsons or something.

Im thinking its time to go to sleep on this one. Its in the back. Plyers belong in the tool box, not in my mouth. I hate this shit.

Sleepy or wakey?????

sleep.. the IV goes in your arm and the next thing you know you'll be laying on your sofa.. i had 4 teeth pulled a couple of years ago and never felt the smallest bit of pain that day or the next few days

Needle... it a lot cooler, especially when you hear whats going on... listening to that tooth just being ripped...

yes... I've had a full molar removed that way... it was pretty cool.

sleep ...i love the feeling after you wake up from it ...after i got my wisdom teeth out i only remember wakin up walkin to my moms car, and next thing i knew i was at my house on my couch ,..but apparently i had a convo with my mom the whole way home i dont remember

Awake, as long as you don't mind hearing the cracking sound and feeling the pressure on your jaw. I had four teeth pulled 2 at a time. It doesn't hurt after they stick you with a needle. You never know what those guys do to you when you're out.

i had my 4 front baby teeth removed...

i was awake

didnt feel shit

they gave me some pill to fuck me up.. it didnt work enough so they put the needle in

didnt feel shit till a couple hours later.. took a while for the bleeding to stop tho.. that sucked more than the pain

I have had it done awake.. And it is not bad at all. You don't feel it. My filling hurt wayy more then pulling tooth.

got er done! #31 is gone.

I found something out. It wasnt novacane I was allergic to. Its epinephrine. When you get "numbed" at the dentist, they use a mix of drugs in the needle. Novacane and epinephrine. Epinephrine helps the body absorb the novacane. If they use straight novacane its not as effective in eliminating pain.

They were right. It hurt like living hell. But, I got no shakes at all.
Im "wadded" up and have a mouth full of blood. But the bitch is gone!!! Now I dont have to worry about dying from a valve infection in my heart.

Clidamycin for 30 days 3 times a day. Hello diarrea! But at least the tooth didnt knock me to the pearly gates.
