need help with my computer

sorry, i dont have MSN, and yes luis, aug 10th is as far back as it would go, and no, i never called apple, and no, i have a pc, but apple is the company that owns quicktime and itunes and can you give me step by step instructions (FOOLPROOF INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE.. I DONT WANNA FUCK ANYTHING UP) on how to remove quicktime and itunes? and if i remove all itunes files, will i lose all my music? thanks guys.. really appreciate it..

Your iTunes music files are supposed to be stored in the My Music Folder. I would suggest you try the safe mode first... it should be the easiest way... just go into it and try to uninstall or reinstall. The reason why its failing could be due to the fact that it may be in use... Safe mode only loads the windows essentials... not any other program that'll normally boot.

i cant get it to take me into safe mode.. it never gives me the option to boot up in safe mode.. should i just delete itunes and quicktime from my program files instead? or should i try to go into safemode again first?

thats weird... even after just randomly rebooting the PC during the windows load screen...

I'll see if I can take a pic or video of how to do it... but I'm going to bed...

ok man, but one more question first.. if i delete all the quicktime and itunes files from my program files, should i be able to download and install quicktime and itunes without any problems? and i wont lose any music from my itunes either, right?

You should be able to download the itunes/quicktime even without deleting the folders... if you can't, it may be something serious like a virus or something...

and to be sure, go to you My music folder in My documents and check if all the music is there (it should be)

have you done any virus scans lately on an one other thing run msconfig and take everything off at start up then try to delete it it could be like louis said that it cant be deleted because its in use...
