It's scheduled for April 9-15, 2009. Starting in California and then ending where ever the MCA 45th Anniversary Celebration is set to be. I haven't heard of an official location yet, but one that has been thrown out there is Knoxville, TN. But for more info just go to the website.

yeah, that's a long way to go. maybe if part of it hits around here i will go to that part. other than that, can't see me doing it.

that looks like fun. ive always wanted to make a cross country trip. it would be perfect if i didn't get orders until april 09. then i could just make my pcs move with those guys.

that reminds me.. that'll be about the 2yr mark for me being at my duty station.. i could take pcs leave to make the trip when i get orders to Yuma, AZ.. that'd be a fun leave b4 goin to a new unit.

I have been wanting to do it after I got out of college my dad said we could go ill take my 86 hes gonna drive his 70 boss 302 it will be awesome.

i was gonna drive my 86 from home(SC) out to my first duty station(CA). i replaced the tranny and everything. then the day before i had to leave my dad convinced me to just fly.

So i'll be expecting to see atleast two from this forum there can't wait for this to happen. thurr's nuthin more than i love than to drive on the open road wit other stangs.

if u like that, get some friends together, go cruise down some local curvy canyon roads(if u have any), get a good feel for em', and then push your car close to it's limits. its one of the best and cheapest adrenaline rushes
