i would like to have my car go 200 mph and i am wodering what suspention and drive trane upgrades would be needed to have the car safe at that speed
befor someone says how unsafe it is to drive that fast on public streets i am only planing on going that fast on closed corse salt flat like places

Not a change in hell you could by a fuckin cobra for the amount your going to put into this v6 to get it to go that fast... it struggles to get to 117mph

that is gonna be really really really hard to do. A V6 mustang is not the best platform to build off of for that kind of application, not to bash any 6ers out there, I love em death, but a different car is prolly the right answer.

ur go only goes 110 with the limiter on it...you need at least 215-220 rwhp to do 140 alone...also you need the right gearing as well and lots more power

even a stock C5 Z06 vette takes a while to get to its limit of 198mph...a lot more aero dynamic and weighs less...plus more power

yeah Im not talking the new Z06...its a monster lol...though it doesnt put 500rwhp down...though the new vette will....with its lack of weight...its fast.....but yeah C5...tho they are limited at 198...they can do 200

there is not a problom with aero dynamics and weight becuse it takes a stock 03 cobra about 5 mods to get over 200 given that is a much more powerfull car it is still well within my reach at least in terms of aero dynamics and weight

200 mph is not going to happen without big money for motor, drivetrain, braking, suspension and aerodynamic mods. The Mustang has the friction coefficient of a brick.

When you show me an 03 Cobra going over 200 let me know...as well as its mods....and your talking about a 4V Supercharged V8...5 mods better be...upgraded SC or Turbo kit which is more then just 5 mods alone....cams, head work, heat exchanger for the SC upgrade/ more boost, and if u wanna include tuning as a mod then tuning if not...Longtubes then tuning......I havent seen many cobras with a 200mph Speedo either....


and saying " it takes a stock 03 cobra with 5 mods..." I guess thats not stock is it....you mean it takes a modded cobra with at least 5 mods plus tuning....and yeah its making enough power to get there....even a stock c5 Z06 can get to 198 with the limiter on it.....but remember gearing is a factor....

I mean, yes if you really had your heart set on it, and just had to have a V6 mustang that could crack 200mph, yeha you could do it. However it is gonna be really tough, If its the kind of thing that could wait a little while, i would wait on it and get a car that is more up to the task. Maby a used vette from the late 90s. Or an 03 cobra. If you do do it it will be a one of a kind 6er.

pony the modes were somthing along the lines of borla exust systom w/ headers new supercharger pully computer tune diferent rear gears and forged weels
this is if my meamery serves me carect i read it in a magazine i will try and find the artical this weekend and post it up here so you can see for your self

lol there is no point you will blow the thing up before u make it there or you will put a lower gear set in and it will take you 8 days to get there. you wont reach 200 mph u will run out of cam and gear. its like saying hey guys i want my Fire fly to do 120 mph its just not happening.
