Ok .. so the guy with the name "camarosRgay" PMs me about the car. As you all know I've never made it a secret that its a clone plus its listed as clone in my sig and all messages in the 4sale threads.....

So he asks ...

How much are you wanting for the car, Is it signed by Steve Saleen, and do you have all the paper work?

I then send him my normal response with all the details of the car price etc that I've been sending to you all who ask about the car.

I then get back ...

OMG ... a FAKE saleen... no thanks

I sent him back a pm telling him how stupid he was but that just gets on my nerves and I had to share ..

ok, now im asking are U serious. are u surprised that someone doesn't want to buy a fake saleen???

im not trying to be a pain in the but come on. im sure your car is really nice and everything but i am another one of those people that is not a fan of fake cobras, saleens, roush's, SS's, etc. i mean, they look damn good and all but theres just something negative about it being fake. thats just my opinion. please dont interpret this as me trying to be a smartass and start something.

that guy might be in the market for a real, genuine saleen and once he knew that yours is a fake, of course he's gonna lose interest

Well sorry will but I am going to take offense to it. I never try to hide the fact it was a clone, I'm sorry but if someone is too stupid to read the post its not my fault and then to be rude about it ... please .. the only difference in my car and a real saleen is .. i didn't pay 50,000 for a body kit ! .. So anyway .. that aside b/c I really don't care that its a clone b/c that was my intent .. what i don't like is the fact this guy was an a$$hole after i clearly posted it was a clone .. anyway ... i don't see the negative of a clone .. i mean saleen and roush choose to the sell the parts .. its a ll a $ game ... I mean mine is a clone and everyone in my neck of the woods knows it a clone but it still turns heads and people still like it all the same ... so thanks again for your wonderul comments !

Look the point is that FAKE IS FAKE, and you should be ashamed for posing as another model. Im proud of my v6. But people pay alot of money for those saleens and roushes, and its not fair to people who pay 60k dollars for a REAL one.

Its not fair ... haha ..whats not fair is a mustang with a body kit costing 50K I can't afford that and I'm not going to play it like I can .. even if I could ..I've always customized cars .. I would never buy a car just to have it done for me .. that aside .. if you would have read .. its clearly stated that its a clone .. no other persons fault except your own ...

it's not your business to state your opinion on the car regarding it stature of being a certified S281 or not.
It already says that.
and if you knew anything about the s281's they are just a GT with some suspension mods and in some cases a blower.

why anyone would pay 60k for that is beyond me.

anyway heres a break down for you. A real saleen costs 65,00o dollars
We put the body kit on andrews car for 4k painted and all
The motor and FI upgrades run 10k for everything (turbo and all)
Then another 3k in other upgrades brings the total to 17k plus the 18k we spent on the car, so that makes it 35k... half the price and 10x more badass... plus you just saved 30k dollars on a car that looks the same, rides the same and its a HELL of alot better... now whos the idiot?

well no hes car doesnt at this point - he decided to sell it. We collecting parts for my turbo system right now, i just bought a v2 s/c kit and im trying to decide which way to go. its gonna be a while but well keep you guys updated on it

There is nothing wrong with a clone.

Personally I wouldn't badge it as a S281.. but that's only my opinion.

if you want to Fork out the cash for a real S281.. by all means... go for it.

That doesn't mean bash someone else's car because they modded it to their liking.

because trust me.. I am sure a v6 is a tad bit easier to bash on than a GT clone.
