Transformer Nerds In Here Now...56K NO-NO
Well for all the nerds on here you might enjoy this...My friend Rod makes these custom transformers...He puts alot of work into these and I think they are awesome...Some have paint schemes that might remind you of some of the old school trandformers...Some have heads from the old school transformers...
I wanted to post this so you guys could see them...I think they are great and he does all this himself in his living room... Commnets, Critism, and Praise are welcome...I am going to send him a link to this thread... Also the ensignia on the back was not supposed to be painted over but it happened...
He is fixing that part of it... |

the only thing i don't like about SoundWave is the two tone paint. The lines just don't look like they should be there IMO

Well its from the Original Soundwave...
On the front of soundwave there is a directional arrow on it to show which way the tape goes... On the car it is a hommage to the way OG Soundwave had the arrow on his chest... |

Whats goin on guys? I'm the guy who makes all these things. I've always been a mustang and thats probably why Soundwave is by far my favorite.
There might be some questions about these all these so I'll try to answer what I can: FAVORITES: Soundwave, of course but Smokescreen (Red/White/Blue Subaru) was my favorite TF as a kid, and I was dying to make an updated Rally car version of him. TECHNIQUES: Primer and paint of course, but there are times when I just dye the plastic the color i want. I paint using mostly flat paints, but for a glossy finish I brush on Future brand Floor polish. It leaves a hard glossy acrylic over coat HOW LONG DO THEY TAKE? The smaller ones I can do in about a week. The bigger ones, like the Subaru, Scion and Mustang have more parts to disassemble prime/paint so they can take up to 3 weeks DO I TAKE COMISSIONS? Not right now. I'm making one for CHRISJ modeled after his car but after that I'm going to take a break. Commisions arent cheap though. WHAT OTHER MODELS CAN I DO/HAVE I DONE?
