CRUISE OF A LIFETIME

A few guys in Maryland and myself are getting a cruise of a lifetime together to take place on the famous uncomissioned road and that is Route 66. We will begin where it begins in Chicago as we all meet up and do a 2 day travel west as a light-pack camping trip. We have updated maps and info of what is still active and inviting along the trip as well as updated maps of what parts of the road are still open.

Trip is to be planned next June 2008 to give everyone ample time to adjust their schedules and save up for gas money. As long as we camp and pack most of our own food, it should be a relatively low cost trip.

I am definetly going, even if everyone else cops out. I believe it would be just as enjoyable alone and a geat historical event.

That would be fun I have always thought it would be awesome to go on a cross country road trip with my buddys and the stangs

The BS around the camp fire sites will be the best.
