Why do sixers wanna sound like a V8?

Thats the question. I do not want mine to sound like a stock V8 at all. I want mine to sound like a sick 6.

Well, I can see wanting to sound like a cammed V8, but most people think of a stock GT sound when they are trying to get sound out of a 6er. Im not trying to start a flame war, I think you can see what im saying though.

I know you wont get the sound, but it seems as if people are going for that sound. They aither don't know that they will never get the sound, or they think their application will somehow sound different. Im not trying to get the sound. I want mine to sound like a mean 6er.

come on, it will stop faster, and grip better. The frame is like 100x stiffer than the foxes. If there isn't long straight aways then there is no competition, that thing will understeer like no tomorrow.

the only car that can outhandle the SVO is the 03-04 cobra

you talk about stopping.. the svo had 4-wheel disc brakes.. you talk about understeer.. 15:1 power-assisted rack and pinion steering

your frame is so stiff because it weighs 700 pounds more than the SVO does.. not to mention how front-heavy your car is

sorry bud.. the only thing the 05+ can do is beat the SVO in a 1/4 mile.. and with the money you didnt spend on a brand new car, you can easily beat it in that too

need i mention more? adjustable shocks/struts from the factory? aerodynamic body (yes, its not cosmetic like yours is), hurst shifter from the factory, 3.55s..

well you're right tho

i guess a car designed to handle is easily out-maneuvered by a fat cow who's only real worry is how good lookin it is and how much horsepower you can squeeze out of the cheapest possible engine while still sounding nice and grumbly

id rather have my car sound like a gtr htan a a 6er, do you realize how nice a gt, or cobra sounds lol.
they sound so nice, and the 4v has suck a different sound than the 2v, sounds soo nicr
