Check out the new RSC-GT Retro Stang!

Hello, I'm new here and looking for some feedback on our new RSC-GT Mustang. We are scheduled to go into production on this car by year end. They are a steel body conversion completely reskinning the car from the top of the doors down. The car is over a foot longer and 3" wider at the quarters. We'd like some constructive criticism or any positive input you may have. Some things are subject to change depending on input. The hood is changing for sure and so is the rear bumper cover. Thanks for looking, Tony

I dont like.
Too far away from what made the 65-69 look good. If you are going to go with retro, go with retro to the design.
Ford really took a risk with the 2005+ in bringing back the retro look. They nailed it though. It is really tough to do.

Thanks for the input so far. Obviously, no one can produce a vehicle that appeals to everyone, that's not what we're trying to do. We set out to produce a car that embodies the best of both worlds, to completely redesign the car to look like a true 68 stang would not be cost effective. There are a mountain of things to consider when biting off a program like this. Legal issues, safety issues, all these had to be taken into consideration in the design of the car.
The tail panel is solid billit aluminum, which is why it is silver...if you knew what that prototype piece cost you probably would not paint it either. There will be 4 versions available, silver, silver and black, flat black and body color. Please try to remember this is a prototype and subject to change. The rear bumper cover will also change and be toned down a bit. We feel that it is important to get feedback from you guys, we can't change everything due to crash zones, airbags etc. If this were going to be a 1 off car that sure, but to consider going into production you have to stop somewhere or the car would cost so much you couldn't sell it.
Thanks again for the input. The car will be at Bowling Green the first week of October if anyone would like to see in person. Thanks, T

You need to put up more pics. We have only seen the front. I'd hate to pass on it without seeing it all.

Glad you like, we have 5 models available for the 68 version including a 700hp GT500 version that looks a whole lot like a 68 KR and 4 1969 versions including a boss 429 version 700+HP also. The KR and the 69 are in the body shop now, they will both be ready for the SEMA show in November. Thanks, T

Overall, I think it's cool. I haven't seen any body kits quite like that before. Personally, I would go with different wheels, and black around the taillights instead of silver. The hood needs a real air scoop in the front such as a ram air hood. +1 on the glassback roof option.

Hello, I know how these forums can get...but...I did request we keep it to constructive criticism, if you don't like the car that's fine, we are looking for feedback from people who like the car but might like to see something changed or modified to it. This car is not for everyone. Can you expound a little on why you think it's "uglie"? I certainly would not tell you your car is ugly without an explanation why....

Well... basically I think your car is ugly because it just doesn't look right... the side mirrors are hideous as well... but over all I would give this car a 1/10 since it's a mustang. Keep up the work! lol

Talk to Ford about the mirrors, they are stock 07. I agree with you though, not much else available that looks any better...

i know they are the stock ones they look nice for a stock car but since you changed it so much it just makes them stand out in a bad way.
