We seem to get plenty of bad moments from time to time, so I
thought we could share them together. If anyone has good stories
of the worst things that ever happened to their mustang, or any bad
moment relating to a mustang, please speak up.

I have two of them. The First just happened to me today, and I feel
so stupid after finding the problem. I was just going to pour oil into
my engine as usual when I noticed that my oil cap was missing. I
wondered how the hell it came off, and then it hit me like a brick. As
it turns out, I forgot to reattach my cap the last time I filled my engine
oil. This resulted in motor oil all over my engine compartment, but at
least I found my cap.

The second and most painful thing would have to be my dad selling his
mustang. When I was little all I ever wanted was to drive my dads 1970
Mach 1. It had a 351 M (Cleveland), it was a 4 speed (Hurst Shifter), and
had a very rare color (Dark Ivory Green Metallic). He bought it in California
in 1972 for $2000, after moving to Florida, he used it as his every day driving vehicle, but after 25 years of ownership, the car had a lot of wear
and tear (aka RUST) and was not running. My dad did not have the money
to restore it, and due to the fact that he had three kids and a mortgage, he
was forced to sell it (to make matters worse he sold it for only $500). I tried tracking it down, but sadly I do not know the Mach 1's vin number. All
I know is that it had over 200,000 miles on it, and my dad sold it to a guy
who delivers mail in the rural area of Milton, FL.

Well Luis if you are totally dissatisfied with your car and you want to bitch about you defroster then ship the car over to the main land and ill take it off your hands

I don't think you'll like it... its only got a 4.6 in it with 6K miles and a hell of a lot of abuse (lets just say I redline the fucker almost every day doing a 1rst-2nd burst all the way to 60mph )

my undriveable car is sitting out there in my driveway covered with plastic as it rains down on it and waits to be towed to the shop if i could get ahold of them!

Number 1- About two months after I got the car, one of my plugs shot out of the head, stripping the threads. Ford replaced it for free because the previous owner had the extended warranty and signed it over to me.
Number 2- About a week and a half ago, I spun a rod bearing. Motor is currently in the shop awaiting parts for rebuild.
