If you are looking into buying a car, just pay the $30 and get unlimited reports for a month. I did that and it was def. worth it.

or make them buy one for it, tell them you wont buy without a carfax. if its a dealership they should provide if for you anyway

Not over priced.. Tjames you didnt add all the features the car had. And you clicked private party value (which is the value as if i were selling it to him,not the dealer) . The cars retail is 9,015 which means its slightly under priced.
I say go for it. But try to talk him down a little.

Okay, I tried to post the Carfax I got on this car, but since I'm a new member, it will not let me. Here is what I found.

48,212 miles. 3 owners, not 1.
Accident on 12/20/2006 Virginia
Police Report
Document #070104304 Accident reported
in Leesburg with another motor vehicle.
This was with owner #3.

1st owner had the car for 1 yr 11 months
2nd owner 1 yr 4 months
3rd owner 9 months
then the dealership where you looked at the car.

1st owner did regular service and it was done at the service facility, i.e. dealer. That's the main stuff.

actually i put in the trade in value which is what i always use when looking up the value on a car. trade in value is about what a dealership would give you if you traded it in or if you totaled it, what the insurance company would give you for it. so actually it is overpriced in my book. If he wants to pay 9 for it thats fine but if he totals it the next day he is getting 6800-7 for it. i call that overpriced. i got mine for under what KBBs trade in value was, and i have nagotiated my girlfriends camaro for under trade in value and also helped other friends. He asked if we though it was over priced, in my opinion and KBB trade in value which i have always used it is over priced. but you can pay whatever you want for a car, im just saying 7 would be a good deal not 9 or whetever you said, if he pays that much he is getting ripped off

Well first take to a non dealer and get it check out. Than off him 6k and bring your own finiance to the table. If you have a trade SELL IT YOURSELF! Top I'd give him is 5.5k if it were perfect 5.8K. He has you by the balls, you want it, dont't fall for it. And that is from a buddy of mine who steals, I mean, sells cars for a living. he says he probaly go the car at auction for between 3900 anad 4500. so go figure.....stange are high dollar money makers for Stealers, cause young people want a cool car. For what he is asking you should be able to get a 02 or 03 GT
